VSI Crusher for Manufactured Sand Production in Nepal

Nepal is an important developing country in Asia and located in the inland mountainous area of South Asia. It is surrounded by several high mountains in its east, west and north side and most of the territory is in the hilly area. There are nearly half of the total areas over 1000 meters above the sea level. Therefore, there are a lot of mineral resources in Nepal. The company established cooperation with Camelway Machinery is a well-known enterprise engaged in the business of building materials, specializing in the aggregate production at many quarries in Nepal.

The development of infrastructure in Nepal is not yet complete, so the construction contractors have a great demand for high quality building aggregates and the demand also shows a rising trend. But Nepal’s industrial base is weak, mechanization level is low and many large machinery and equipment are dependent on the imports from neighboring countries. The company cooperated with us this time had purchased two crushing equipment from Camelway for the primary and secondary stone materials’ crushing last year. In June, at INTERMAT ASEAN 2017 in Thailand, the customer learned the properties of our new sand making equipment -- Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher and was attracted by our intensive, modular HZSL series manufactured sand making plant.

According to the customer's requirements and the practical terrain characteristics of the customer's production area, our engineers provided a set of simplified plan for manufactured sand production. From top to bottom the equipment is respectively 2YK1860 vibrating screen, ZS2028 VSI crusher, 3YK2160 vibrating screen, sand washing and fine sand collecting machine.

It is reported that the whole set of equipment has been officially put into use, and the finished sand production output can reach 100-120 tons/h with a good particle shape and gradation. Its fineness modulus is 2.6-2.9, which can fully meet the requirements of high quality manufactured sand. Thus, it gets a good reputation in the aggregates market. On-site staff said that the host of the whole set of sand making equipment is one Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher that is just equipped with a single drive motor, which can reduce about 50% energy consumption. Additionally, its simplified crushing cavity and the hydraulic opening device make it easy for the equipment maintenance.

Through the use of high quality crushing and sand making machine provided by Camelway Machinery, the company set up a complete building aggregates production line and gained enormous economic benefits.
